Established on 15th May 2014, UGTSB focuses on the areas of Renewable Energy Technologies and Energy Efficiency, including Energy Management in stages. Four types of businesses are run by UGTSB in the field of Green Energy involving the following:
- Seminar, training, and consultancy
- Project design, development, installation, and operation.
- Equipment trading and supply related to Green Technology.
- Special projects.

BACKGROUND
After the UniSEA project was fully completed in July 2022, an inauguration ceremony was held on 5th August 2022
and was officiated by the former Menteri Besar of Perlis, YAB Dato' Seri Azlan Man. Then, a joint venture agreement was signed on 8th August 2022 by UniMAP Holdings Sdn Bhd (UNHSB)
and Bio Green Supreme Sdn. Bhd. (BGSSB) which has formed Biotech UniMAP Sdn Bhd (BUSB). BUSB is in the process of developing 32 greenhouses, 4 organic marine liquid fertilizer (OHM) ponds and
a store located at Ladang Harumanis Sungai Chuchuh, Titi tinggi, Perlis. Among the projects that will be carried out are tree nurseries, Harumanis plants, Irwin fruit plants, Abiu fruit plants,

ORGANIC MARINE LIQUID FERTILIZER (UniSEA)

WHAT IS UNISEA FERTILIZER?
The UniSEA Organic Marine Liquid Fertilizer was a product produced through a joint venture between UniMAP Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UNHSB) and Bio Green Supreme Sdn. Bhd. (BGSSB),
which the content consists of discarded seafood such as:
Crab shells
Squids
Abalone
Fish
Brown Sugar
Good Bacteria
The UniSEA fertilizer was used to ensure that tree grows well and ensure that microbes in the soil are active again, to make the soil more fertile.

- Associate Professor Dr. Midhat Nabil Bin Ahmad Salimi
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Midhat Nabil Ahmad Salimi was a Senior Lecturer at School of Bioprocess Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). He obtained his PhD at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham, UK with his title of “Systematic investigations of calcium phosphates produced by wet chemistry method and supercritical processing techniques”. He is currently extensively carrying out research on hydroxyapatite (HAp) and magnetic iron oxide nanoparticle for drug delivery applications. His other research project also includes the application of nanoparticles for enhanced biofuel production.
